This message is to the sweet women of Tri-City Baptist Church in Conover, North Carolina.
Thank you for such an amazing weekend. What a beautiful group of women. Thank you for making me feel welcome and so very loved. I meant what I said when I left…I wish I could spend the next nine months in Bible study with you, getting to know the precious hearts I got a glimpse of over the weekend. God is about to do a powerful work in your midst. He made it so evident during sharing time. I can’t wait to hear.
Thank you for the kind words you left me with on Saturday afternoon. Your words revealed answered prayer. I pray that your 30 journey with the Lord is already blessing you, and you are sensing His Presence and seeing Him at work in your midst.
I treasured every moment…especially our “cruise.”
I did not have a camera, so I would love to post some pictures. Please send them to me at deuteronomysix@aol.com.
Psalm 40:1-3
I turned to the Lord, and He heard my cry.
He lifted me out of the slimy pit, out of the mud and mire.
He set my feet upon a rock and gave me a firm place to stand
He put a new song in my mouth, a hymn of praise to my God.
Many will see and fear and put their trust in Him.
Thank you again for inviting me to be a part of your weekend. My time with you blessed me beyond measure.

Wendy,
It was great to meet you,
Thanks for stopping by today and leaving a sweet message. I do not know how raising teenagers can even be done without depending on the Spirit of God to actually do the work on the inside of the hearts of our kids. It is His work and if we will leave it up to Him and trust Him, He will do it well. I know, in my case, He has to continually remind me of that so that I get out of His way and let Him continue what He started in them. He reminds me of that a lot. I am so glad that He does because when I step back and trust Him, no matter what I see in the natural, He does amazing things in my children and in me. I just want to cry typing this.

It's Wednesday. Have been thinking about ya all day. I'll have to adjust to "Wendy-less Wednesdays"! Ugh. Well, I'll be lifting you and yours up to Him each time I think about you.
Thanks for a wonderful summer study! I just love you!
