“I Am Loved” Faith Proclamation for You

Happy Thanksgiving week!!

I always love this week because it’s often a slower-paced week, good for resting and relaxing. I pray you find some time to rest and spend time with friends and/or family.

Before I share my news, if you’re looking for the winner of Suzie’s giveaway from my last post, I announce the winner at the end of today’s post.

I have some fun news to share with ya’ll. I know you, like me, LOVE God’s Word and Bible study. In a few weeks, my next book releases. It’s a study of 1 John entitled I Am Loved: Living in the Fullness of God’s Love. You can read a sneak peek at Week 1’s study here.

Over the next weeks and months we’ll have some fun giveaways and surprises for you. So watch your inbox! If you’re not already a subscriber, join us here. I’d love to also have you join our launch team. Get more info here.

Today, I’m sharing a faith declaration I created for the study. I thought Thanksgiving would be a great time to be grateful for, and declare God’s promises over, our hearts.

In the near future, when time allows, I will make this declaration available in a printable. But, for today, I pray you’ll take a few minutes, sit quietly with the Lord and speak these precious promises over your heart. May confidence and strength rise up within you as you remind yourself of who and Whose you are.

I am Loved, a Bible study on 1 John by Wendy Blight.

“I Am Loved” Faith Declaration

Abba Father, I proclaim this day …

I am forgiven redeemed, cleansed, and sanctified by the blood of my Lord and Savior, Jesus Christ. (1 John 1:7; Ephesians 1:7)

My body is the temple of the God’s Holy Spirit. (1 Corinthians 6:19)

I am an instrument of God’s righteousness, yielded to Him for His service and His glory. (Romans 6:13)

I am a vessel of His goodness, mercy, love, and grace. (2 Corinthians 4:7-10)

The devil has no hold on me and no power over me. Fear cannot control me. Anxiety cannot overwhelm me. I am a blood-bought daughter of the One True God. (1 John 4:4, Revelation 12:11)

I will stand steadfast in the Commander of heaven’s armies. Every battle is His, and by His power, no weapon formed against me shall ever prosper. (Psalm 91:7-8)

I have overcome Satan, and I crucify my flesh, my pride, my ego, and desiring my own way to the glory of my Father in Heaven. (Romans 8:31-38)

I receive in all its fullness the mind of Christ, and I stand on and commit to walk in the truth that my heart, my mind, and my body belong to my Lord and Savior, Jesus Christ. (1 Corinthians 2:12-16)

I am a covenant child of God Most High. Bought with the blood of Jesus. I will contend for my faith. I not waver. I will be bold and brave, standing confidently in who and Whose I am. (1 John 3:8; Hebrews 2:14-15; Psalm 91:13)

I am a daughter of the Conquering King. Greater is He who lives in me than he who lives in the world. I know this. I believe this. I commit to live this. And because of this, I will live a life of victory that brings honor and glory and praise to my King. Amen.

I’d love to hear YOUR favorite promise from the Faith Declaration!! Please take a minute and leave it in the comments.

  1. Thank you Wendy! This is such an awesome prayer for everyday! What a great reminder of how we are loved and how much we have in Him. Thanks again and may your holiday season be filled with His blessings!

  2. Wendy, beautiful prayer. The verses that stands out to me the most in my today life is, “The devil has no hold on me and no power over me. Fear cannot control me. Anxiety cannot overwhelm me. I am a blood-bought daughter of the One True God.” (1 John 4:4, Revelation 12:11) Amen!

Happy Thanksgiving to you and your family. ❤️

  3. Nichole Ridner says:

The devil has no hold on me and no power over me. Fear cannot control me. Anxiety cannot overwhelm me. I am a blood-bought daughter of the One True God. (1 John 4:4, Revelation 12:11)

I’m looking forward to being able to print this beautiful reminder. Thank you for compassionate heart for others. Your words are soothing and comforting because they are filled with God’s love.

  4. Thank you Wendy!
My favorite promise from the Faith Declaration is, “I receive in all its fullness the mind of Christ, and I stand on and commit to walk in the truth that my heart, my mind, and my body belong to my Lord and Savior, Jesus Christ. (1 Corinthians 2:12-16) Amen

  5. The devil has no hold on me and no power over me. Fear cannot control me. Anxiety cannot overwhelm me. I am a blood-bought daughter of the One True God.” (1 John 4:4, Revelation 12:11) Amen! This is what caught my eye. I’ve been battling stress and anxiety all year. Even ended up in the hospital. Thank you for always touching my heart.

    • Oh, Donna, I have battled anxiety too. Thank you for sharing. This is a great one for you to cling to in this battle. But, always remember, IN CHRIST, you are MORE than a CONQUEROR and greater is the one who lives in you than the one who lives in the world.

      Happy Thanksgiving,

      Wendy

  6. Love this Wendy! They all speak so much, but the two that really caught my attention are the first one about being sanctified and then about crucifying my flesh, ego… Adding to that my desire to figure things out. Need to rest in these promises today instead of trying to figure out His will for tomorrow.

I’m so looking forward to your new study! I’ve loved them all, but this will be the first one I didn’t do online with you before it was a book. I’ve been hearing this song and it makes me think of your study each time…excited to know more about God’s great love and experience it even better!!

    • Jill, I’m not surprised these are the ones that spoke to your heart. You have prayed them and claimed them. I’ve watched you surrender and I’ve watched you be more than a conqueror in your battles. 🙂

And, thank you for always pointing us to worship!!

      Happy Thanksgiving,

      Wendy

Beautiful Declaration…this is my ‘standout’ in this

The devil has no hold on me and no power over me. Fear cannot control me. Anxiety cannot overwhelm me. I am a blood-bought daughter of the One True God. (1 John 4:4, Revelation 12:11)

    Thanks for this Declaration.

  8. The devil has no hold on me and no power over me. Fear cannot control me. Anxiety cannot overwhelm me. I am a blood-bought daughter of the One True God. (1 John 4:4, Revelation 12:11

This is my favorite promise! This is not a slower paced week at all for me. Work, cooking, looming Christmas decorations and shopping, etc. and I can let myself get very anxious about things. I needed this one for this day. Thank you and thank God!

    • Oh, Leisha, I understand how this can be a busy week for sure. I pray you find peace and rest in the midst of it through God’s precious presence. Thank you for taking time to share.

Happy Thanksgiving to you and yours,

      Wendy

  9. There were several I just grabbed hold of, but if I have to pick one it would be this:
I am forgiven redeemed, cleansed, and sanctified by the blood of my Lord and Savior, Jesus Christ. (1 John 1:7; Ephesians 1:7)

Without this none of the others would be possible.

  10. Nita Haddad says:

I can not wait for this study!

I am the daughter of the Conquering King! Oh, may I live a life of victory that brings honor and glory and praise to my King!

    • Hallelujah! I LOVE this promise too. It’s my favorite name. 🙂

And, thank you for being excited about the study. You have been a faithful ministry friend. 🙂

      Blessings,

      Wendy

  11. Melissa Chambers says:

WOW … another powerful Faith Declaration. I use the one you wrote years ago about who we are in Christ nearly everyday.

I am clinging to this truth today as God continues to heal my social anxiety, PTSD and depression.

“The devil has no hold on me and no power over me. Fear cannot control me. Anxiety cannot overwhelm me. I am a blood-bought daughter of the One True God. (1 John 4:4, Revelation 12:11)”

    • Melissa, it blesses me to know that you still use my first Faith Declaration to speak truth over your heart and mind. God is our healer and His Word is health to our bodies and healing to our bones. Praying you receive His full and complete healing, my sweet friend.

      Blessings,

      Wendy

  12. Susan Mattro says:

Thank you Wendy! My favorite promise would be:
I am forgiven redeemed, cleansed, and sanctified by the blood of my Lord and Savior, Jesus Christ. (1 John 1:7; Ephesians 1:7)

  13. Denise Hill says:

I am forgiven redeemed, cleansed, and sanctified by the blood of my Lord and Savior, Jesus Christ. (1 John 1:7; Ephesians 1:7)..Rreminds me that whatever I have done, Jesus has covered and I am His alone.

  14. Thank you Wendy for a great blog post!
    My favorite is:
“The devil has no hold on me and no power over me. Fear cannot control me. Anxiety cannot overwhelm me. I am a blood-bought daughter of the One True God. (1 John 4:4, Revelation 12:11)”
I am going to write this in my journal today. Have a Happy Thanksgiving!

  15. As soon as this is a printable I need It! Thank you for sharing this and I am excited about your new book!

  16. Marilyn in East Texas says:

    Dear Wendy,
Your words always touch my heart!

I am forgiven redeemed, cleansed, and sanctified by the blood of my Lord and Savior, Jesus Christ. (1 John 1:7; Ephesians 1:7)

    Happy Thanksgiving!

  17. The prayer really touched me. I have overcome Satan, and I crucify my flesh, my pride, my ego, and desiring my own way to the glory of my Father in Heaven. Happy Thanksgiving to you and your family.

  18. Thank you for these! They are life!
My fave: I am a covenant child of God Most High. Bought with the blood of Jesus. I will contend for my faith. I will not waver. I will be bold and brave, standing confidently in who and Whose I am.
May your Thanksgiving day be blessed!
    Happy Thanksgiving to all!

  19. Dearest Wendy,
I feel like a kid at Christmas… tearing off each link of the paper chain… waiting for the release of your book! God speaks so intimately yet so powerfully through you. Thank you for this prayer… what a Thanksgiving gift!
In this spirit of Romans 4:17… believing the God who calls into existence the things that do not exist… I am claiming this over my daughter:
“I am a covenant child of God Most High. Bought with the blood of Jesus. I will contend for my faith. I not waver. I will be bold and brave, standing confidently in who and Whose I am.” I already see that God has begun the good work. I will claim this as it comes to completion!
For me (and for my husband)… this is SO powerful. You have prayed it over us many times. I need to renew my mind daily with this truth:
I will stand steadfast in the Commander of heaven’s armies. Every battle is His, and by His power, no weapon formed against me shall ever prosper.
    AMEN.
I love you Wendy. I thank God of the gift of our sisterhood. Happy Thanksgiving my dear friend. xoxo

    • Noelle, thank you for taking the time to stop by. I’m so thankful for you and for our friendship. And what a glorious day it will be when we live together in heaven. No more texts, e-mails or phone calls. We will see each other face to face!!! 🙂

      Love,

      me

  20. Mema Jeanne says:

Happy Thanksgiving to you and your family!!! We are waiting for the arrival of children and our 3 grandchildren. So, I am taking a little extra time with God. I love the thought of Psalm 91: 7-8. I love any time in Scripture that the Lord God is referenced as the Commander of the heavenly armies. He has held me steadfast in every battle that has come my way in this latter part of my life. Wendy, I use your Armor Prayer every morning for myself , my children, and my precious Nicholas, Emma, and Will–my grands!!! I finished Priscilla Shirer’s “Armor of God” study about 3 months ago, and I found your ” A Call to Battle, Weapons of Warfare, and your closing prayer from 2015. I am learning from your prayer and using my own words when I pray it later in the day or at night.
I cannot wait for this next study!!! I say it a lot, but God has used you, sweet friend, to bring such discipline of the Scripture and love for His Word into my life. I am forever grateful for the person you are in Christ Jesus.
    Love, love, love, Mema Jeanne

    • Thank you, Mema Jeanne. How wonderful that your house has been filled with your babies!! What a gift for them to be loved and prayed over by such a beautiful godly mema!!

I love knowing how God continues to use the prayers He laid on my heart in your life and the life of your family. It means so much to me as I continue to study and write. God’s Word is eternal!!! Our prayers are held in heaven. One day we will see the result of all God does with the prayers of His people. It will be overwhelming.

      Love you,

      Wendy

  21. Oh my dear friend Wendy,
You have once again awakened my spirit within. I am thirsty to learn more. I am so glad to see another study of yours. I suppose my favorite thing that keeps me going is this truth; I am a blood bought child of God. and I am learning every single day..Thank you God. Thank you Jesus..and thank you Wendy…I can’t wait for your study….Blessings..Tammy Barnard

  22. The verse that touched my heart was 1 John 4:4 You, dear children are from God and have
overcome them, because the one who is in you is greater than the one who is in the world.
Whenever I am tempted to sin are do something and the Holy Spirit reminds me of my sin.
This verse come to mind. Great for scripture to memorize.

Thank you Wendy for another wonderful bible study.

  23. So excited about your new book, and the bible study Wendy. You have been such a great encouragement to me. Praying for God to continue to lead and guide you and to bless you and your family like you have blessed me and so many other sisters. Sending many hugs your way❤

  24. Thank you for this and I look forward to receiving the printable version. The verse that stands out most to me today is 2 Corinthians 4:7-10.. GRACE sums it up. What an undeserved privilege to be His vessel filled with goodness, mercy, love, and grace. He doesn’t need me to accomplish His purpose in “my” world, but wants me and allows me to pour out His goodness, mercy, love, and grace to everyone I see. AMAZING! 🙏
