Greetings my sisters,
Congratulations on completing our Proverbs Study. Thank you for the time you invested and the wonderful comments and stories you shared. It has been a joy to spend this month with you.
Please leave comments on my blog today and share how God has used this study in your life. More specifically, how has spending time with God in His Word practically changed your life. I will share your comments with the publishers who are reviewing the Study for possible publication. I also will select one winner from the comments left on my blog to receive a copy of the complete Proverbs Study. Please include your e-mail address in your comment so that I may contact you if you are the winner.
God promises that His Word that goes out from His mouth will not return void but will accomplish what He desires and achieve the purposes for which He sent it. That has been my prayer for each of us as we have studied together. So I cannot wait to hear how God was at work in His Word this month, accomplishing His desires and achieving His purposes in your lives. Through your comments and stories, may He receive great glory, honor, and praise!!
One more thing, my devotional, entitled Prepared by God, will run on our P31 Web Site this Wednesday, March 17th. Please stop by our Proverbs 31 web site to check out the devo and then pop over here and leave a comment sharing your thoughts.
Thank you again for the past four weeks. I will miss our time together and hope you will continue to visit and update me on your journey with God!
Hi Wendy,
You don't need to thank us…
Thanks to God and thanks to you His beautiful and very wise instrument!!
We know where wisdom begins!
I've enjoyed the studies. I love the book of proverbs.
Thanks for all the effort you put into this. May God bless it and bless you.
Hope you will do something like this again.
Thanks,
Wendelijn
Hi Wendy
Thanks again for this study. Through it I saw what all God considers gossip and or idle chatter, and how much He really dislikes it. I also was reminded of how important it is to guard our hearts, and that starts by watching what we hear and who we hang around. How timely of a study to confirm things God had already started in me.
I enjoyed how many scriptures you used as references both in Proverbs and through out the Bible, it really confirmed the points you were making. I also enjoyed the questions, for me, I seem to really get things to sink in with that style of study. For some reason if I can ponder the question while I am reading, it makes me really think about what I am reading instead of just glazing over.
God has shown me some areas that I need to work on. And even if it may be uncomfortable, I know it will be wise to do what He wants.
Thank you for your prayers and encouragement, and again for the study.

Wendy:
Thank you so much for the study. It has been an awesome four weeks study of Proverbs. Proverbs is so rich with answers for our life. During the study God showed me areas that I need to work on my heart and my words. As I read and study the scriptures the Holy Spirit was speaking to me on how I should have responded to different situation that had happen. As the Holy Spirit was speaking to me, I began to cry and asked God for his forgiveness. I have learned to think and pray first before speaking so my words will be encouraging/loving/effective not harsh or hurtful. I can not express how much you have blessed me and I thank God for using you to help woman like me.

Hi Wendy 🙂
THANK YOU so much for the opportunity to participate in your Bible study. I have enjoyed every minute of it! Last night I was finishing up some of the 'homework' ~ and I sensed the verses were just for me (Don't you just love how God's Word is so personal?). I took lots of notes, but feel like it would be too much to share here. 🙂 However, I do want to encourage you and let you know how much this study really ministered to me. I appreciated how you pointed us straight to the Word (my mentor always reminds me to point women to the Word ~ that's where the power is!) Rather than lots of lengthy commentaries, you sent us to Scripture to see what God has to say. Thank you 🙂
I also appreciated your Truth~filled prayers. I prayed aloud (in my confident, big girl voice! ~ smile) your prayer after Matthew 11:28-30 (# 3 this past week), and it was powerful! I put my hand on my list of needs, doubts, questions, and burdens ~ and joined you in saying, "I CHOOSE today to trust You". Ahhh, what peace settled over me when I was finished praying. THANK YOU!
OK, I said I wasn't going to comment too much here…please know the Lord has gifted you, called you, equipped you and used you in mighty ways! May He continue to open doors, remove obstacles, and use you to SHINE brightly for His Kingdom. So grateful to journey through this exciting season alongside of you!! Thanks for the opportunity!!
God's richest blessings to you!

Donna from Dallas has been trying to post her comments for four weeks and has had been unable to do so. She has faithfully e-mailed me each week, so I thought I would copy and paste her last e-mail here today.
Dear Wendy,
This has been an incredible study for me. What a wonderful way God has made the wisdom and truths of Proverbs come alive through your teachings. I will continue to meditate on these four weeks of study daily to help me guard my heart with God's Word; build my wisdom and knowledge of His Word so that I may apply it to the areas of my life that God reveals; pray, wait, and listen for the Holy Spirits leading on my speech with my family and others God places before me; and use these teachings to love and minister and witness to others as God leads.
We can regret our past and feel badly for the lack of growth or ugly things we may have done to others. That's where Satan would have us stay–stuck. But, that is not what God wants for us–He wants victory, He wants us to claim the joy and peace, forgiveness, mercy, grace, blessings and triumph that He proclaims, promises and prepares for our lives. We can have it when we follow after Him. This study has opened my eyes and prepared the way to continue using, applying, memorizing the truths and scriptures for my growth and spreading it to my family and friends.
Thank you for being obedient to God's calling on your life.
Many Blessings and Much Joy,
Donna
Dearest Wendy:
Thank you for sharing God' Word and truths with us…in the ways He has gifted you. You are a treasure. I am so thankful He is using you in such a beautiful way.
This study was rich and full of God's Word. Thank you for honoring Him and His Word.
Psalm 138:2 — "You have exated above all things Your name and Your word."
Proverbs is such a great book. I could "chew on" every verse for quite a while. I appreciate it so much because it is practical life application.
Looking forward to your devo and 3/17 (that's my birthday!).
Love you much,
Sharon 🙂
I'm behind…once again! Thank you, sweet friend for leading this study! I need to go back to the last one and read over it. Then, I can be a grad!!
Love you!
Susan
Well comming back I really read your question how this study and how Gods word is working in my life.
Well if I could only express in one comment! Think I would have to write a book to do so. But my very favorite bible passage is from proverbs 3:1-9. I've been a christian since age of 14 studied a lot but in my life also have been trhough a lot (who doesn't). The last two years God has openend a room in my heart wich I had locked so tight and tried to forget soo hard! And for the first time I allowed Him to do so. It has been a hard clean up the past two years but finally I acknowledged him in all my ways, even the hidden ones so far away that I couldn't quite remeber… and as true as Gods word is!! It also is becoming medicine for my body! Pushing things away can have such a negative effect on your health and so it did for 24 years! God knew and He loved me to much to leave me like that! So He broke down the walls! He loved me so much that He would not only die for me and forgive my sins but He wants to heal my wounds as well!! And He is using the oil of His word to heal!
And now getting trough it all and getting emotional strong again I feel such JOY and I am so thankfull feels like I'm flying all of the time and lost tons of weight…
So I cannot stay quit by such a question!
Thanks Wendy, Thank you Jesus!
Blessings,

I just read your devotional "Prepared by God" and literally felt that God was speaking directly to me. belive it or not, I am in the same position you were in several years ago–a practicing attorney at a large firm. I keep asking God the same questions you posed in thr devotional: "What is my purpose?", "Why am I here?" Your devotional was the encourgaement that I needed to drag myself into my office today. I now know that nothing will be wasted for the kingdom!
Thank you for allowing God to speak through you to me. I really needed it today:)
May God bless you and your family for your obedience.

I just read your devotional "Prepared by God" and truly felt that God was speaking directly to me thru you, His beautiful vessel. I can relate with you – I was a successful sales director in the tourism industry some years back but yet felt empty and unfulfilled. I finally quit, tired and exhausted and just "rested in Him to renew my strength". The 3 years of refreshment was so vitally needed. During this time, I was prompted to take up a course on training and got myself certified as an adult educator. During this time, God has also worked amazing miracles and brought many wonderful & godly people into my life together with heartfelt prayers being answered. I can't thank Him enough for all His goodness and faithfulness! Coincidentally, today marks the day where I was offered a new role as a Principal Trainer in a National Learning Institute. Your timely devotional gave me the needed confirmation n assurance that my new role is part of God's purposes and calling on my life, a step towards something He is establishing which is yet to be fully revealed. Looking back, the past experiences did add to the present season and I am certain what He is taking me thru will lead me into His future plans for my life. Now, I have to walk in faith, with the courage to simply trust and obey every step of the way because He is walking together with me. Pls pray for me, that the Lord will establish the work of my hands for His glory and kingdom's sake.
Thank you for being such a great blessing and may He continue to use you mightily to touch others and impact the kingdom and His saints in ways which only our Creator is able to! May the Lord bless and anoint you greatly for His Glory!

Thank you so much for your devotional about God's plans for his children. I am in a job I can no longer perform due to health issues and I really feel in my heart God has another plan for me. Please pray God will reveal this ministry to me. God bless you. Every devotional I read is truly an uplifting experience and always very timely. My name is Linda and I live in Clinton, TN. My email address is llc050@comcast.net.
Wendy,
I want to start by thanking God for directing my path this way. I want to thank you for hearing and doing what God wanted you to do. This study could not have come at a more perfect time for me. God definitely had a hand in it. I have also been doing the Beth Moore blog to go along with her new book, So Long Insecurity. The way that these two studies have crossed paths and gave me exactly what I needed, when I needed it, has been the most amazing thing that has every happened in my life.
I have been a Christian most of my life, my Dad is a minister, and I have been in church most of my life. I am 34 and had come to a huge crossroads in my life. I have been married for almost 13 years, I have a 5 year old little girl and a 16 year old stepson, who came to live with us not long after my daughter was born. Talk about all life changes at once.
Well for the last several months, and maybe even a year, I have struggled spiritually so much. I basically was ready to quit it all. I was tired of the constant struggle and it just didn't seem worth it anymore. I told God I needed Him to speak to me literally and tell me what I needed to do. I have been in church and bible studies most of my life and I should have more joy and peace and contentment than what I do.
Well, I believe God lead me here to this study and spoke to me as literally as I had hoped for. The wisdom, understanding, and knowledge you need to build a house is all found in God’s Word, however, you have to visit it daily and really be willing to hear God speak and apply it to your everyday life.
I came to a breaking point and I have made the choice to continue this journey with God NOT without Him. Each week, I enjoyed the study so much. It was a study I couldn't wait to get to. It was definitely something I had a desire to do, not just something I had to do.
Thank you Wendy for this amazing study. It has been so much more to me than just another bible study. I have been able to practically apply it to my everyday life. I have been pausing to make a wiser choice than my immediate reaction to a situation. Thanks again and may God continue to bless your ministry.
